In June 2009 I took delivery of the long-awaited Starlight Xpress filter wheel. I used it properly for the first time in the early hours of 6th July and have produced my first colour image, which is of the Dumbell Nebula that has been uploaded to this site.



The assembly can be used with either 1.25" or 2" filters although it only comes with the seven position 1.25" filter wheel. It also comes with a software CD and is very simple to use.



The unit comes with a USB lead that powers and operates the wheel. This is a well engineered product that I would definitely recommend.
